
Air Update: Turkish Airlines is no longer a participant in Sabre
As you may be aware, despite ongoing negotiations, Turkish Airlines and Sabre failed to reach an agreement and, effective September 1st, 2024, Turkish Airlines content will no longer be available in Sabre.
Fortunately for our Ensemble members, our ADX Platform has contracts for Turkish Airlines loaded via Amadeus as well which will allow you to book and ticket new commissionable TK flights through ADX by enabling and selecting Amadeus in the Inventory Source (GDS) drop down and flight results.

If you book Turkish Airlines and are not currently using ADX for Air bookings, we strongly recommend you consider this option.
The Air Desk charges NO fees for managing any Air bookings made through ADX and takes responsibility for any potential Debit Memos and Schedule Changes
Existing Bookings:
If you have an existing un-ticketed booking in Sabre, and have ADX access, we recommend you check ADX availability and try to rebook before going to the Air Desk.
You may be able to rebook in the same inventory via Amadeus in ADX and save on any applicable Air Desk fees.
NOTE: If you see availability in ADX and are holding inventory in Sabre, please remember to cancel the Sabre booking before confirming in ADX to avoid a duplicate booking and potential debit memo
For Sabre GDS Users who choose not to use ADX for new Turkish Airlines bookings, or to ticket any outstanding un-ticketed Sabre bookings, the Air Support Desk charges fees of:
· Existing, Un-ticketed Sabre Bookings :: $35 per ticket to take over the booking, replicate the flights/booking in Amadeus, claim the commission for you. Plus, $25 to ticket and manage the record.
· The Air Desk will also work with Turkish Airlines on your behalf if the same inventory/price is not available in Amadeus, although Turkish has given no guarantee that they will honor.
· New Bookings: $35 to Quote (per PNR), $35 to Book (per PNR), $25 to Issue (per Ticket)
If you choose this option, in addition to complete flight details (screen shot of existing PNR, if applicable), the Air Support Team requires:
· A photograph of the Traveler’s Passport photo page for name verification
· Billing Address, Contact Phone and Email Address of Primary Traveler
· Complete Credit Card payment details
Already Ticketed PNR’s:
For any future Modification required on an already TICKETED booking, the AGENT must contact TK directly to action.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
Q: Will there be an immediate change?
A: Effective September 1st, 2024, all Turkish Airlines content, including branded fares, air extras, etc.. will NOT be available in Sabre until further notice.
Q: What will happen with bookings created in Sabre on/or before September 2024?
A: These bookings will remain active and can be flown as ticketed on and after September 1st, 2024, however, the bookings/PNR’s will not be serviceable in Sabre.
Agencies must make sure all reservations include passengers’ valid email ID and phone numbers.
